The Grinch didn’t ruin Christmas. Toms Mucenieks did, with his Jingle Bells: Sad Christmas Piano Cover. There’s nothing more we can say, to impress upon what we’ve already said.
What would cause this clearly talented young composer to do such a thing? In his own words:

Long story short – I somehow got tired of the same Christmas songs every year, so I tried to make a sweet twist to the Jingle Bells turning into something like depressive Christmas version.
