If you grew up in Florida around the 90’s and 2000’s like I did, especially around Jupiter way, the rock band Boxelder would have been a name you heard quite often.
Their unique blend of rock and reggae seemed uncharacteristic for their make up, and it might have thrown you off. That is until you heard the rhythm fire up and singer Bryce Rutkowski start singing.
My favorite album of theirs was Live – Under the Sun and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was available for purchase still. In fact, listening to one of their songs Teach the World is what inspired this feature.
I’m going to share two songs from that album, and so that you see what they were like live, a video of them performing live. After the videos, there is a link where you can buy and download the songs. I would definitely recommend adding one or two to your playlist.
