Kinga Glyk is a young and amazing bass player in Poland, who gained recognition for her debut album, Rejestracja (Registration). As the leader of her own band, the Kinga Glyk Trio, she started her journey of music playing with her family band, the Glick P.I.K. TRIO, and since that time, has toured Indonesia, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and more.
As a bassist myself, (I play the double bass), I am in awe of her skill and talent. I first heard of her two years ago when she did her own rendition of Jeff Berlin’s bass cover of “Tears in Heaven” by Eric Clapton – a video that I am most happy to share with you.
