If you’ve never heard of Postmodern Jukebox, then this will really be a treat for you. Who they are, in a nutshell, is a group of insanely talented musicians who takes modern music and remakes them with older, classic styles.
In fact, we’ve covered one of their artists before as a feature, Emmaline, (one of my favorite singers), when she remade Brittney Spears’ Hit Me Baby One More Time.
Today’s feature though doesn’t highlight Emmaline. No, it features a young, power house of a soul singer, Caroline Baran (KÆYRA), who debuted with Postmodern Jukebox at the age of 14, and was age 15 when this video was made.
After the video of Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters, there is a second video of one of her originals, Fountains of Gold from her album of the same name.
